Lots moving quickly in Windermere community

Since January, Rohit Land Development has sold over 110 lots through its group of hand-picked builders in Arbours of Keswick, located in the Windemere district in the city’s Southwest. The developer expects the remaining lots, which are some of the best in the community, to sell quickly.


Arbours of Keswick New Schools

School Location Announced!

The Arbours of Keswick K-9 Public School location has been confirmed! There will be bus drop off areas and parking within the school site with access from 182 Street, a Development Permit has been issued for the school with September construction still on schedule.

Two new Edmonton K-9 schools to begin construction in September next to Arbours of Keswick

Construction on two schools in Edmonton’s southwest are among five where construction will begin in September, creating 560 jobs, the UCP government said in a news release.

A new K-9 public school and a K-9 Catholic school in Windermere-Keswick were first announced in November, but a timeline was not released.

The bidding process for the $100 million project is to begin April 30. The government wants the schools to open in 2022.

Edmonton Church of God Starts Construction on their new home in Arbours of Keswick!

The 46,000 SF one-storey accessible building on a 2.63-hectare (6.5 acre) site will accommodate up to 600 people in the sanctuary, with a large foyer, a children’s wing and parking for 260 cars.

Once completed in 2021, the church will offer Sunday morning services plus a robust schedule of Christian education and music programs, youth groups and community initiatives where everyone is welcome.

“A church is a support system and offers a place of community. It’s a place to meet your neighbours in a different setting than across the back fence. Knowing your neighbours helps knit the community together and I think a church can be a vital part of that.”


Brand New Playground in Arbours of Keswick

Located on the south portion of Arbours of Keswick is a new Park, Playground and Covered Picnic area. The playground is specifically designed with equipment for younger children, and is surrounded with benches for parents and caregivers. The covered picnic area is perfect for birthdays, family and community gatherings.

The playground is close to the Townhomes in Arbour Townes and Park Backing Duplexes!


Both the Edmonton Public and Catholic School Boards will build 950-student K-9 schools in the heart of the Keswick community.

Two new schools announced in Keswick, Southwest Edmonton adjacent to Arbours of Keswick

Two new schools are officially on the books for Keswick in Southwest Edmonton’s burgeoning suburbs.

Both the Edmonton Public and Catholic School Boards will build K-9 schools in the heart of the community. The recent announcement from the provincial government ensures the children of Keswick will grow up with their friends close to home, safely ensconced in a familiar neighbourhood.

A high school was also announced for nearby Heritage Valley.

“Having multiple schools benefits future residents, as they have a choice in the best education for their children,” says Marty Pawlina, marketing manager for Arbours of Keswick developer Rohit Land Development.

“Schools are more than just education. These K-9 schools will be a hub and a place to build community relationships. It’s outstanding to have these schools in the Keswick neighbourhood.”
